10/7 - New situations = stress for me

If any of you have been keeping up with me on Myspace you already know my situation. For those of you that are not up to date I'll keep it short. I lost my job last Thursday and everything has been up in the air, including my eating habits and exercising routine. I was doing great and was planning on starting my yoga dvds but I have been so stressed out with what to do now and all this paperwork I have to deal with. Ugh. Not to mention when I stress out I do not feel like getting my butt to workout and I crave bad food. Luckily it hasn't been HORRIBLE food - just not as good as I was doing before this job drama happened. And today I feel like poo..but hopefully after this weekend I'll start fresh on Monday. Plus Todds sisters wedding is Saturday and you can never diet at a wedding! And don't even ask me what I weigh...I'm not even going near a scale until I'm emotionally sound again.

I'll probably post again on Monday and by then I'll have myself in check.

9/25 - Jen got me to do it

Thanks to Jen I now have another reason to be online ;D

Also - to support here - and for her to support me in this weightloss journey.

I don't think I can be as detailed as her - but I'll for sure let you know what's going on.

My goal right now is to lose another 2-5 pounds before Todd's sisters wedding - 11 days and counting.

Next goal is to tone up and tan (probably not healthy but I'm as white as a sheet) by Halloween.

And then we'll see what the dreaded holiday season has in store for me.

As of right now I bring my lunch to work which usually consists of a turkey sandwich, fruit (orange, apple, pear, you get the idea), organic yogurt, organic applesauce, and almonds. If I have time for breakfast at work I usually have a banana and some Joe's O's (like cheerios but its Trader Joes brand). Dinners are up in the air but I try to stay away from fatty and fried foods. But I do allow myself to have In-N-Out once every few months - but it doesn't taste as good as it used to. Must be the diet - right?

And exercise is a bit lacking right now - but I do take the stairs on Monday (5 stories up and down) and Thursday (4 stories up and down) - don't laugh! Its a lot better than what I was doing a month ago. Haha okay I am even laughing at myself now. I do try to ride our stationary bike every other day or the elliptical if I have the energy - but since school is grabbing all my extra time I'm going to have to be more creative in losing weight - like parking further away and taking the stairs EVERYWHERE. Todd did get me a few yoga DVDS since my plan of Tuesday night yoga isn't working out that well. Hopefully I can get into a exercise routine that will be flexible enough for my schedule.

Wow this blog started off short and to the point and now I'm just typing too much.

I'll keep you guys (probably just Jen) updated.
